Andy grew up in Brentwood, Essex, but no, he’s never met anyone from TOWIE or anyone like them.

After failing to secure a position in his preferred career of “Rock Star” he started working at BT on a three-month temporary contract. 33 years later he found the exit door and left to focus on his core skills of gaming and drinking tea.

He always fancied being a radio presenter so that he could talk to loads of people without the tiresome need actually to be in the same room as them, and he comes to Radio Big Sky via stints at Felixstowe Radio and Suffolk Sound.

Andy is a keen member of Deben Players, where he acts and is sometimes allowed to direct his own pantomimes. He also plays keyboards in two bands, The Uptowns and Comfortably Floyd, and is always happy to receive favourable comments about his versatile organ. At home in Woodbridge, Suffolk, he is tolerated by two cats.
