Radio Big Sky Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions conducted by Radio Big Sky ("the Station"). By entering any competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as any additional terms specified in the specific competition details.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirement
Unless otherwise stated, all entrants must be at least 18 years old. Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
2.2 Residency
Competitions are open to UK residents only, unless otherwise stated.
2.3 Exclusions
Employees of Radio Big Sky, their immediate families, and any persons professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry
3.1 Entry Method
Entry methods will be specified in the individual competition details and may include phone-ins, online forms, social media, text message or postal entries.
3.2 Entry Charges
Competitions run by Radio Big Sky are not run through premium rate calls or text although standard network charges will apply (check with your network provider for details of any charges). By entering, you agree that you have the bill payer’s permission before texting/calling.
3.3 Late Entries
For competitions run through the mobile network, any late or invalid calls will not be entered but may still be charged.
3.2 Entry Limitations
Unless otherwise specified, each participant may only enter a competition once. Multiple entries from the same person or household may result in disqualification.
3.3 Entry Deadlines
All entries must be received by the closing date specified in the competition details. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. Prizes
4.1 Prize Details
Prizes will be described in the competition details. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
4.2 Substitution of Prizes
In the event that a prize becomes unavailable, the Station may reserve the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value. Radio Big Sky cannot be held responsible for cancellation of events (in the event of cancellation no transfer will be offered or cash alternative)
4.3 Prize Delivery
Winners will be notified by the method outlined in the competition details. Prizes will be delivered or made available for collection as specified in the competition details. The Station is not responsible for any delays in delivery or for any prizes that are lost or damaged in transit.
5. Winner Selection
5.1 Selection Process
Winners will be selected as described in the competition details. This may include random draws, panel selection, or public votes.
5.2 Notification
Winners will be notified within 28 days of the competition closing date. If a winner does not respond within 21 days of notification, the Station reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
5.3 Publicity
By entering the competition, winners agree to participate in any publicity related to the competition. This may include the use of their name, photograph, and any other content provided during the competition, in any media without further compensation.
6. Liability
6.1 General Liability
The Station and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant or winner as a result of entering the competition, accepting a prize, or any other aspect of the competition.
6.2 Technical Failures
The Station is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, failures, or delays in entries being received that are beyond its control.
7. Disqualification
7.1 Breach of Terms
The Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who breaches these terms and conditions, cheats, or engages in any conduct that is disruptive or unfair to other entrants.
7.2 False Information
Entries made using false information will be disqualified.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Data Collection
Personal data collected during the competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with the Station’s Privacy Policy.
8.2 Marketing
By entering the competition, entrants agree to receive marketing communications from the Station, unless they opt-out. Entrants can opt-out at any time by following the instructions provided in the communication.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Amendments
The Station reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Station’s website.
